About TestOneDev
Gate Project is my first game dev project at all, which I pursue in full-time since June 2024. As it is a solo project, fighting at all fronts is challenging and risky. I mitigate risks and time losses with applied strict and efficient project/product management, learned from my past jobs and bachelor’s/master’s university degree programs. This includes streamlined workflows, reduction of non-game dev parts to a necessary minimum.
I worked in Germany and Taiwan for over a decade as team-leading head of product management, product manager and project manager in the gaming hardware industry, and released with our teams several bestselling gaming products worldwide. Hence, I do not come from directly from the game development industry, but a related industry.
The art of programming is a self-taught one, originating back to my high-school years. Despite never having officially worked in a software-only development field, my past experiences in developing & releasing products globally, with hard- and software, keep me committed, confident and prepared for the task ahead.
Aside from that, in previous years I participated in various game jam and prototype developments to further develop and test my technical abilities. On top, added dozens and hundreds of hours studying theoretical & practical aspects of game development, software architectures, and more…
